The Boston College Bookstore is located on the first floor of McElroy Commons. Regular bookstore hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. For specific information please telephone 617-552-3520.
A shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes during the day; every half hour at night until midnight. It stops at various locations on the edge of campus, then continues its route to Cleveland Circle and the Newton Campus. There is no charge.

Career Center assists students, alumni and staff in finding internships and jobs, making career choices, choosing a major and considering graduate school.
Change of Address
Students are urged to keep the Woods College of Advancing Studies Office informed of any changes in home address, business address or telephone numbers during the semester.
Grades and other important communications may be delayed through failure to make the necessary changes.
The Information Technology Services Help Center, is located in O'Neill Library. The facility includes a technology Help Desk in Room 248, multimedia software and hardware located in O'Neill 205, computers with general productivity and research software are on the third floor behind the Reference Desk, and printers on the first and third floors. Valid BC ID required.
Conners Family Learning Center
The CFLC offers instructional support for faculty and graduate students, special services to students with learning disabilities, and tutoring and skills workshops to all Boston College students.
Carney's is located on the third floor of McElroy Commons. It is open until 7:30 p.m. See the Dining Services website for complete information on dining facilities around campus.
Massachusetts State Law mandates that ALL STUDENTS IN A DEGREE PROGRAM will be charged for medical insurance regardless of the number of credit hours for which they are registered.
Non-Degree students registered for three or more courses will also be automatically charged for medical insurance. Students have the option of participating in the Boston College plan or completing a waiver through AGORA. The waiver must include specific insurance information of comparable coverage. Students who do not submit a waiver will be automatically billed $1143 for the Fall 2014 semester and $1498 for the Spring 2015 semester for the Massachusetts Medical Insurance. Waivers must be submitted each year. Medical insurance waiver forms can be found at: www.bc.edu/studentservices .

The Health Services Primary Care Center is located in Cushing Hall on the first floor. Academic year hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Inpatient Unit (Spellman Infirmary) is located in Cushing Hall on the first floor. During the academic year the infirmary is open 24 hours a day. Both units are closed during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter holidays. In a health emergency on campus, the Campus Police should be contacted immediately at 617-552-4444. Extended health services are not available to non-resident students.
Job Opportunities at Boston College
Identification cards can be purchased from the Office of Student Services located in Lyons 101. These cards are required for use of library facilities and for student identification at athletic facilities and events. It is highly recommended that a student keep this card available at all times.
Students and faculty should assume that classes will be held. The severity of snow storms differs in localities. Often by evening the roads are perfectly clear. As a result classes usually go on as scheduled in the Woods College of Advancing Studies. Students must make their own decision as to whether or not they can attend. In the rare event of a crippling storm the cancellation of classes will be announced by radio stations WBZ and WHDH; or students can check www.bc.edu/info, or telephone 617-552-4636.
The Thomas P. O'Neill Library is the primary library resource center. To check out library books, students must use their BC ID card which can be obtained in Office of Student Services, Lyons Hall, Room 101. Library hours are as follows: Class days of the academic year: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.; Friday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in the Boston College Police Department, 21 Campanella Way, First Floor, 617-552-4440. Part-time students should also check with the building custodian. Articles unclaimed after 30 days are discarded.

There is a well-lighted parking garage on the lower campus. Parking on the middle campus is restricted to faculty and authorized students. Parking permits and information must be obtained at the Office of Student Services, Lyons Hall.
The William J. Flynn Recreation Complex is the focal point for athletic activities and recreation. The Recreation Complex contains: 1/8 mile track, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, racquetball and squash courts, 25 yard lap pool, diving pool, heated spa, unisex changing room and saunas. Our Fitness area includes a wide variety of aerobic and resistance equipment. There are over 75 aerobic machines, 25 Nautilus and Body Master strength-training machines and free weights. We have fitness trainers and staff that can help you with your fitness program.
An official Boston College picture ID card is required to use the Recreation Complex. BC picture IDs are issued by the Office of Student Services located in Lyons. Further information about membership, including rates, may be obtained by contacting the Membership Office at 617-552-3035.
Liturgy is offered on class days in Gasson Hall Chapel at noon, and in the Church of St. Ignatius daily at 5:30 p.m, on Saturday at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday vigil, and on Sunday at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 noon and 5:30 p.m.
The Campus Ministry Office is located in McElroy 215. A complete listing of local clergy and detailed information on religious services of many faiths is available there.
