Information on biological, chemical and radiation safety, as well as the management of hazardous materials and waste, can be found at the Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) website. In addition to being a comprehensive and valuable resource on those issues, EHS conducts a number of training programs and provides compliance oversight, advice and assistance. EHS is represented on a number of compliance committees, and it collaborates with the Offices for Research Compliance and Technology Transfer and Licensing on such matters as compliance with the federal select agent regulations.
