Working Conditions for Older Women and
What Employers Can Do for Older Women in the Healthcare Sector

In recognition of the National Employ Older Workers Week, Jacquelyn James, director of research at the center will be speaking at the Department of Labor at an Older Women Worker’s Roundtable, sponsored by the Women’s Bureau. The conference will be held in Washington, D.C, Friday, September 27th. James will be part of a panel on Working Conditions for Older Women and will address the issue of what employers can do for older women in the healthcare sector.

James will also be presenting a webinar—The Multigenerational Workforce: Lessons Learned from Research at the Sloan Center on Aging & Work—for the Inclusion and Diversity Research Consortium by web conference on Monday, September 30, in London, U.K.
