April 2013 — Philip Moeller has been named a Research Fellow at the Sloan Center on Aging & Work. He will concentrate on the role and development of workplace programs that support older employees in efforts geared to their retirement security, wellness, workplace engagement, later-life preparedness and success. Moeller is an accomplished journalist, Internet entrepreneur and corporate communications executive. Since 2008, he has concentrated his work on aging, health and retirement as the author of “The Best Life” blog for U.S. News & World Report, where he is a contributing editor, and as co-author of the U.S. News E-book, “How to Live to 100.” “We are very pleased that Phil has decided to take a deeper research interest in these topics,” said Dr. Marcie Pitt-Catsouphes, Director of the Sloan Center on Aging & Work. “He has a wealth of knowledge and will bring fresh perspectives and insights to the Center’s on-going efforts to broaden understanding of aging and the workplace.”
