Workplace and Career Flexibility for Older Workers

click to view Greenfield' biographyMay 21-22, 2012, Total Rewards 2012: World at Work Conference, Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, Orlando, Florida. Sam will be speaking with Carolyn Brownawell, MITRE; Linda Roundtree, Roundtree Consulting; and Lynette Walker, Central Baptist Hospital on Workplace and Career Flexibility for Older Workers. Older workers are staying on the job longer and expecting to retire at later ages. According to one study, the percentage who expects to retire after age 65 has increased from 19% in 2000 to 33% in 2010. In this interactive session, hear numerous best practices that companies are implementing to meet the needs of these older workers for workplace and career flexibility. With two employers offering their case studies and best practices, discuss several key questions: How do organizations define workplace flexibility? Who is the older worker? And what emerging strategies, programs or practices have organizations introduced to provide flexibility to older workers?

Please let Sam know if you are going to be at the conference so she can be sure to catch up with you!
