Under 5% of Adults Age 45+ Among the Working Poor

Compared to other age groups, "workers age 45 to 54, those age 55 to 64, and workers age 65 and older had lower working poor rates--5.1 percent, 3.9 percent, and 1.7 percent, respectively," according to a 2013 Bureau of Labor Statistics report.
