Ratio of Workers to Social Security Recipients Will Be 2:1 in 2034
"The ratio of workers paying Social Security taxes to each person collecting benefits will fall to 2.0 to 1 in 2034," compared to 2.9 to 1 in 2011, according to a 2012 report from the Social Security Administration.
