6 out of 10 Hispanic Older Adults are Active in Labor Force
Among persons identifying as Hispanic or Latino, labor force participation of those aged 55-64 is 60.8%, compared to 64.3% of all workers in that age group. For those aged 65+, the labor force participation rate is 17.6%, compared to 17.9% overall, according to a 2012 analysis of data from the Current Population Survey.
