Less Than Half of 65-year-olds Are Fully Retired
Among Baby Boomers born in 1946 who turned 65 in 2011, "almost twice as many ... stated that they were fully retired as were working full-time at age 65 (45% versus 24% respectively)," according to a 2012 Metlife report.
