Two-thirds of Unpaid Caregivers for Adult Family Members Are Aged 50+

Among over 1660 individuals providing unpaid care for an adult family member or friend age 18+, "one-third [were] younger than age 50, 40 percent age 50-64, and more than a quarter age 65+," according to a 2012 AARP survey.
