College Degrees Are a Goal for Many Older Adults
Educational upgrading projections indicate that "among adults ages 40-64 in 2018 (ages 30-54 in 2008), ... almost 1 million will have earned a bachelor's degree between 2008 and 2018, and an additional 1.2 million will have earned a master's degree," according to a 2011 analysis of American Community Survey data.
