Cynthia Sutherland Director, Diversity & Inclusion Global Human Resources Abbott

Cynthia Sutherland is Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Abbott. She has strategic oversight for the work-life and diversity and inclusion strategies.

Cynthia is a long-time member of the Boston College Work and Family Roundtable, a former member of the Strategy Board of the Alliance for Work/Life Progress and the Conference Board Work-Life Leadership Council, and a founding member of the American Business Collaboration for Quality Dependent Care.

Prior to joining Abbott in 2006, Cynthia held work-life, diversity and benefits positions at Motorola, Sears and the Bank of America. She has a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin and an M.S.W. from the University of Michigan.
