Support. Educate. Empower.
The Women’s Resource Center understands that education leads to power and thus works to plan events and programs throughout the year to raise awareness about issues affecting women at Boston College, locally, and globally, as well as to celebrate women’s accomplishments both at Boston College and in the wider community.
Programs offered by the Women's Resource Center include annually-held, campus-wide campaign weeks (Love Your Body Week and CARE Week), a mentoring program for freshwomen (Big & Little Sisters), a social justice service project (Computer Literacy program), discussion groups, and residential hall talks. Throughout the year, the WRC collaborates with faculty, staff, various student orgnaizations, and other offices at Boston College in order to ensure that the diversity of the student population at BC is fully represented and served by the programs offered.
If you have questions or ideas for an event or program that you would like to share with the WRC, or would like to collaborate on a potential program with the WRC, please email us.
