Delegations should plan to depart Boston College in the morning on Sunday, July 27th. Delegates will be provided a continental breakfast at check out.

Getting to Boston College

Boston College is located approximately 10 miles from Logan Airport, however the traffic can make the trip longer than you may expect. Please account for this when making plans to travel from the airport to BC. Public transportation directions are listed on our website. While certainly the cheapest option, the “T” is undergoing construction that may make it more difficult to navigate (but we welcome the adventure!).

Cab/Shuttle Information

If you are arranging for group transportation you may consider one of the options below or hop in a cab at the airport. Please ask the drivers of the shuttles/cabs to take you to Boston College, 140 Commonwealth Ave and have them drop you off at St. Ignatius Church. From there, an NJSLC intern will direct you to check-in. All transportation information is also listed on our website.

  • Uber: Uber offers a $20 discount per account using the code BC2014. The application is easy to use, and they do not need to be booked too far in advance. Anyone who signs up for an account can use that code. For more information or to sign up for an account, you can click here.
  • SuperShuttle: SuperShuttle is an easy company and is located in many parts of the country. If you search for a shuttle by Hotel/Landmark, type in “Boston College” in the box next to “Hotel.” You will want to select “Boston College Chest Hill” and ask to be dropped off at St. Ignatius Church

Public Transportation

Airport Blue Line Shuttle buses pick up passengers in front of the airline terminals and brings them to the Airport subway stop (known as the "T"). Take the Blue Line subway inbound to State Street. At State Street change to the Orange Line (direction: Forest Hills) for one stop to Downtown Crossing. At Downtown Crossing, follow signage (you will go through an underground tunnel) to the Park Street Station (Green Line) and take the Boston College Green Line outbound train, i.e. Line B to Boston College. Stay on the train to the end of the line. It will cost $2.50 for a one way trip on the “T”.

** Please note: The Government Center T stop will be closed for the summer.**

Delegates will be staying in Vanderslice Hall, one of the newest residence halls on campus and one of the few with air conditioning.

Advisors will be staying in Stayer Hall, another new, air-conditioned residence hall. Advisors may opt to stay in a single room for an additional $186 (available during registration).
