James L. Kreinbring
As director of administration, Jim Kreinbring is responsible for financial management, business operations, and human resources for the Office of the Vice President and the Division of Student Affairs.
Prior to his arrival in Student Affairs, Mr. Kreinbring held several positions in information technology; served as project manager for Project Delta, Boston College's four-year project to leverage technology and the web to improve business operations and student services; and was a special projects manager for the executive vice president. In his current position, Mr. Kreinbring is the chief financial and human resources officer for the Division of Student Affairs; serves as liaison to the university's financial and human resources offices; manages personnel, technology, and space for the division; and represents the Office of the Vice President on university committees including the Student Organization Funding Committee (SOFC).
Mr. Kreinbring has an undergraduate degree in English from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, an M.Ed. from Northeastern University, and an M.S. in computer science from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
