Parking for People with Disabilities
or Mobility Issues

boston college transportation and parking services

Boston College has made every accommodation to ensure that our campuses are accessible for all people. In addition to parking spaces for those with a state disabled parking placard, all of our public facilities offer accessible entrances and elevator access to individuals with disabilities. To locate accessible parking and entrances, please download this map. (You will need Acrobat reader to read the map, which can be downloaded at www.adobe.com.)

Students or employees with a disability may use the BC Shuttle buses, which have been specially fitted for wheelchair access. More on Shuttle Buses.

Visitors with a state disabled parking placard should check in at a Boston College entrance gate. The security attendant will provide a visitor parking permit and inform you of the location of the accessible parking spaces within the visitor parking areas.

Faculty, staff, and students with a state disabled parking placard and a BC Permit may park in accessible spaces located within the parking lots assigned by their specific parking permit type. The parking permits can be obtained through the existing parking system.

Faculty, staff, and students with a disability or mobility issue may apply for additional parking accommodations on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact the Transportation & Parking office for further info.
