monthly pass information—Fall 2013

Boston College is pleased to offer its students the opportunity to purchase MBTA passes for the fall semester at an 11% discount. Passes must be purchased for the entire semester in advance. Individual monthly passes must be picked up each month during the semester with the exception of a Link Pass. Link Passes are now distributed as a Charlie Card, only once per semester. During the last week of the previous month, students will be notified via email when passes are available for pickup in the Office of Student Services.

You may purchase passes beginning June 1, 2013. The deadline to purchase passes for the fall semester is August 2, 2013. These passes offer unlimited rides from September 1, 2013, through December 31, 2013. Listed below are the various passes available and their costs. There are no cancellations or refunds.

Boston College will accept payment by credit card only. Purchase passes here https://commerce.cashnet.com/ssmbta.

Employees are eligible to purchase MBTA passes through Crosby Benefits. For more information visit  www.crosbybenefits.com. To purchase MBTA passes, visit the Commuter Benefit Signup webpage.

Outer Express Bus—$569.60 per semester

  • Routes: 352, 354, 355, and 505

Zone 1A—$249.20 per semester

  • Commuter Rail Zone 1A*

  • The Boat pass is accepted for Zone 1A through Zone 5 on Commuter Rail.
  • Commuter Rail passes Zones 6 through 10 are accepted on the Boat.
