View the spring 2012 Final Exam Schedule.

Students should check their final exam schedule on their Agora Portal accounts to confirm the time and room assignments for each of their exams.

Be heard. We're listening. Complete your course evaluations through May 16 at 11:00 p.m. Students who complete all of their evaluations will have access to their grades beginning May 8. Visit the course evaluation website for more information.

Undergraduate A&S, undergraduate CSOM, and all WCAS students should check their mailboxes for their Commencement Guides. All other students should pick up their Commencement Guides through their deans' offices. A copy of the Undergraduate Commencement Guide is also available online. For additional information on Commencement, please refer to the Commencement website or the online planning guides available on the Student Services website.

Attention graduate students expecting to graduate in May 2012: Graduate students should consult the Graduate Commencement Guide for information about graduation.

Refunds of credit balances can be processed by Direct Deposit or by paper check. With Direct Deposit, you will receive your refund faster and without the hassle of picking up your check and then depositing it into your account. The service is free and completely secure.

To enroll in Direct Deposit login to your Agora Portal account and select the "My Bill" option from the "My Services" page. Select the "Direct Deposit" link in the left navigation bar, and provide your account information. If you have stored a payment profile in "My Bill," you can use that account without having to re-enter the information.

Once enrolled in Direct Deposit, you can request your refund by selecting "Request Student Account Refund" from the "My Services" page in the Portal.

In accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' law and the policies of Boston College, all students who are registered in a degree program and all international students will automatically be charged by Boston College for medical insurance. Non-degree students registered for at least 75% of the full-time course load will also be charged.

Students can waive their medical insurance through the Agora Portal using the waiver application. Medical insurance waivers must be completed every year. Providing insurance information to other offices on campus (e.g., Athletics or Health Services) does not fulfill this requirement. Incomplete waivers will not be processed. If you do not complete a waiver (electronic or paper) prior to the deadline, you will automatically be enrolled in and charged for BC's insurance plan. The cost is $1,050 for coverage from August 7, 2012, to January 6, 2013, and $1,240 for coverage from January 7, 2013, to August 6, 2013.

Detailed information on costs, benefits, and participating providers is available online at or

Attention undergraduate students: Beginning with the 2012-2013 academic year, BC will no longer be partnered with Tuition Management Systems (TMS) for the administration of monthly payment plans. Payment plans will continue to be available to undergraduate students under the name of QuikPAY® Payment Plans (QPPP). QPPP will be integrated with My Bill, and students will have access via the Agora Portal. Parents will need to be set up as Authorized Payers in My Bill in order to access the payment plan option. Payment plan enrollment opened on May 1, 2012. The first monthly payment installment will be due June 5, 2012. More detailed information will be posted to our website and sent to eligible students over the next few weeks.

Boston College has partnered with peerTransfer to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students. With peerTransfer, you are offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, as compared to traditional banks. You will also be notified via e-mail when your payment is received by Boston College. More information is available at Visit to begin the payment process.

The Office of Student Services extends a warm welcome from Boston College to you and your family. Over the next few weeks we will be sending deposited freshmen our Welcome Packet, which includes a Welcome Book and the Academic Planning Workbook. You will also receive the 2012-2013 Boston College Catalog under a separate mailing. Please review all materials before your orientation session.
