Notice: Due to renovations, 2000 Commonwealth Apartments will close in the fall of 2015 and reopen in the fall of 2016 as a Boston College residence hall.

Our office can assist you in finding roommates to live with or any other type of housing you might be interested in. If you are searching for a roommate, or would like to be a roommate in an established apartment, please use the off-campus "Roommate Finder" which can be found on our website. Also, our general off-campus housing listings of apartments and other living situations can be viewed and downloaded directly from out site!

FRAUD WARNING

There has been a recent spike in activities from individuals looking to scam students and parents. Please follow these simple common-sense rules to avoid being a victim:

  • Deal locally with people you can meet in person.
  • Fake cashier checks and money orders are common. Banks will cash them and then hold you responsible when the fraud is discovered weeks later.
  • Never give out financial information.

Note Regarding Boston Maximum Occupancy Law

Boston city law limits the number of undergraduate students that can live together in an apartment located within the city of Boston to a maximum of four. This law only applies to full-time undergraduate students. This law does not apply to apartments located in Brookline, Newton, or other surrounding communities. For further details, please reference the law here.
