Welcome Wagon Volunteers

This year, Welcome Wagon will boast well over 400 volunteers. Welcome Wagon volunteers physically move items into dorms and greet students with immediate representation of the quality of character exhibited by Boston College undergraduates. Volunteers should be accessible to answer any questions or concerns that may arise throughout the day. All volunteers will be able to move into their Fall placements early.

Welcome Wagon Leaders

Each year, Welcome Wagon hires a dedicated group of team leaders, typically 15, who coordinate and oversee the move-in process. Leaders’ responsibilities include organizing and motivating the volunteers, being an active participant in Move-in Day activities, and fostering positive relationships among team members. Team leaders also enjoy an even earlier move-in date and a chance to exhibit great leadership in an on campus setting.

Leader applicants will be contacted to set up a phone interview by mid-July. All final decisions will be made by the end of July.
