Residential living at Boston College is viewed as an integral part of the holistic development of students. Residence hall communities are nurturing environments that are rooted in the Jesuit Catholic tradition and that emphasize spiritual, moral, personal, and intellectual growth and development. Students have the unique opportunity to interact with others from differing backgrounds, participate in service and social events, and define their role within a community.

Each student living in this community is responsible for being a proactive member adding to the overall college experience of others. Students are responsible for taking ownership in developing a safe and healthy living environment for all of the community's members.

Boston College students must remember that living on campus is a privilege. It is students' responsibility to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, all Residential Life and University policies as they relate to our community. These can be found in the Student Guide, safety regulations, the Residence Agreement, Conditions for Residency 11-12, and the Conditions for Residency 12-13.

Questions about community expectations or Residential Life policies can be directed to your Resident Director or to the Assistant Director for Judicial Affairs, in the Office of Residential Life, Maloney Hall, Suite 220, 617-552-3060.
