Policies
We expect users of the Data Resources to follow common policies for the use of shared computers, including:
- No shared accounts. The standard UNIX group structure can easily accommodate sharing of files within a group. If you have special needs, please contact us. We should be able to accomodate these needs.
- Boston College's Computing Policies and Guideline proper use policies apply to accounts on the cluster.
- The sponsoring faculty member owns the files in the account, and has all rights to these files including the right to: view, copy, delete, or restrict access to the files.
