*PLEX Introductory Lifting Package:

The Plex Introductory Lifting Package is designed with simple exercises that will accommodate your basic needs and is ideal for members who are new to weight lifting, or may need a refresher. You will be provided with an initial health and fitness assessment, and three, 60-minute individual personal training sessions.

 

*MAROON Kickstarter Package

The Maroon Kick-Starter Personal Training Package will help you develop a great workout routine. This package is great for anyone who needs that extra motivation and guidance to develop positive fitness habits and to start working out again. You will be provided with an initial health and fitness assessment, and then five, 60-minute individual personal training sessions.

 

*GOLD Kickstarter Package

The Gold Kick-Starter Personal Training Package will help you develop a great workout routine, similar to the Maroon package, but you get more sessions! Motivation, guidance and personalized workouts guaranteed. You will be provided with an initial health and fitness assessment, and then ten, 60-minute individual personal training sessions.

 

EAGLE Semester of Training Package: $500 for students ($20 per session), $700 for faculty and staff ($28 per session)

Take your fitness to the next level, be supported all semester long, and get a great deal with the Eagle Semester of Training Package. You will begin with a health and fitness assessment, then ideally complete two, 60-minute individual personal training sessions per week (but no more than 25 per semester). Due to trainer availability, no more than three sessions per week can be guaranteed. Sessions must be used during the semester purchased, or will be forfeited. Package only available for purchase during the first month of each semester (September for fall semester, January for spring semester, or May for summer). Package has a firm expiration at the end of the semester purchased (December 31st for fall, May 31st for spring, and August 31st for summer).

Individual Standard Training Packages

All packages include 60-minute sessions to work one-on-one with a personal trainer for the greatest amount of personal attention, feedback, and support in customized workouts. A complimentary health and fitness assessment is included. The greater number of sessions purchased, results in the greatest value.

 

Partner Training Packages

Keep each other accountable! Partner training packages include 60-minute sessions with a personal trainer, customized to you and your partner’s goals and abilities. Each person receives a complimentary health and fitness assessment. The greater number of sessions purchased, results in the greatest value.

 

Group Training Package

Get a group of 3-6 friends together for a 60-minute small group workout with a personal trainer. The group training package includes one complimentary 75-minute group health and fitness assessment.

A la carte personal training sessions may only be purchased by current training clients who have received a health and fitness assessment and worked with a trainer within the last 3 months.

Your trainer is your personal guide to a healthier, happier you. They provide scientifically grounded health and wellness solutions to reach your fitness goals in the shortest amount of time possible. Results come from hard work and dedication.

  • To receive information regarding current recommendations for cardiovascular, resistance, and flexibility training according to the American College of Sports Medicine.
  • To gain expert advice on programs ranging from weight loss to improved sport performance.
  • To decrease your risk of injury by having a safe and effective program tailored to your specific needs and goals.
  • To stay motivated, add variety, and take your fitness program to the next level.

3 sessions: this package is catered to individuals in need of professional advice and guidance on the development of a general fitness training program.

5 sessions: this package is recommended for individuals in need of professional advice and guidance on the development of a general fitness program, and/or for clients who temporarily need the extra motivation and encouragement to take their workout to the next level.

10-15 sessions: these packages are recommended for individuals in need of professional advice and guidance on the development of a thorough fitness program, and/or for clients who need regular motivation and encouragement to take their workout to the next level and to work toward positive fitness goals. These packages are perfect for the client who wants the regular support of a trainer, but who also hopes to ultimately exercise confidently and independently.

Boston College Campus Recreation has partnered with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) to provide the highest quality of education to our student staff of personal trainers through our BC Rec Personal Training Prep Course. The semester-long educational partnership program ensures we have a staff of highly trained, credentialed fitness professionals with hands-on experience who are ready to make meaningful and positive contributions to your fitness journey.

Cancellation Policy: to cancel an appointment, you must contact your trainer directly, at least 12 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a lost session.

Late Policy: trainers are required to wait 15 minutes for registered clients. Sessions that begin late due to the late arrival of a registered client will end at the originally scheduled time. If after 15 minutes the client has not arrived or contacted the trainer, this will result in a lost session.

Partner Cancellation Policy: if one client cancels a partner training session within 12 hours of a session, or simply does not show, a 30-minute session will be provided to the other client if in attendance and the client who cancelled will lose a session. If one client cancels a partner training session with more than 12 hours’ notice, the session can be rescheduled for a 30-minute individual session if the other partner decides to keep the appointment, but it is recommended that both partners reschedule the session to get the full 60 minutes.

Group Cancellation Policy: if one client cancels a group training session, or simply does not show, the session may continue with the remaining clients. The session will still count toward the package balance for each of the clients. It is recommended that the whole group reschedules 12 hours prior to the cancellation cut-off whenever possible. Individual make-ups are not possible with these sessions.

Registration

Starting is as easy as 1, 2, 3

  1. Fill out the Fitness Training Services Registration Packet (printed copies are also available in Member Services). Return the forms to Member Services in a signed, sealed envelope.  

  2. Within 3-4 business days check your email to schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation to review your packet with our professional fitness staff. Please note some clients will need a Medical Clearance. This will be communicated to the client before or at the consultation.

  3. After the consultation, purchase your sessions to schedule your first session.
