BC Rec Personal Training Session

  

Revitalize your current exercise routine, get in shape, and become healthier with personal training at BC Rec! Personal training sessions are available for individuals of any fitness level and we offer a variety of customized training options, including one-on-one or semi-private sessions to fulfill each person’s needs.

Please keep in mind that the Flynn Recreation Complex is not a medically supervised fitness facility. Our trainers are not medical professionals and do not provide physical therapy services or rehabilitation. Some clients may need to get medical clearance in order to participate in our personal training services.


Our certified personal trainers are ready to help you set attainable goals and work toward a healthier you!


Individual Sessions
Available in 60 or 30-minute lengths. Sixty-minute sessions work well for individuals looking for a complete workout to focus on all areas of fitness  including cardiovascular, resistance training, flexibility and general well being.

6 or 12 Session Packages

The 6 or 12-session packages provide the trainer and client time to expand the focus of exercise progression, program development and diversity of your exercise program.

Semi-Private Partner Training

Do you and a friend have similar goals? By teaming up with a friend, you will save money and exercise in a more comfortable environment with a friend or colleague.

Personal Workout Plan
Our trainers will develop a personalized workout plan to meet your fitness goals. This program is split into two one-hour sessions. Generally, this plan works best for clients who do not require extra motivation or help with form.

Health & Fitness Assessment

Let one of our certified trainers provide you with a body-fat assessment, flexibility assessment, muscular strength and endurance measurements, neuromuscular balance assessment, and a cardiovascular fitness evaluation as part of our Health & Fitness Assessment.

Registration
If you are interested in registering for personal training or have additional questions, call (617)552-6094 or email fitness.center@bc.edu. All personal training participants must fill out the Personal Training Application Packet prior to their first session. Some participants may also be asked to complete a Medical Waiver. These forms must be hand-delivered to the Member Services Office upon completion.
