The BC Iron Eagle event is a strength and endurance competition that will test the fitness levels of its participants. The course is designed to be difficult but completed by anyone who participates. Fastest time on the course should be around 30 minutes.
The competition will begin with a strength medley. The weights of the medley exercises will differ depending on the weight and gender of the participant. Upon completing the medley participants will immediately begin the endurance phase of the competition. The endurance course will be about 1.5 miles in length and consist of 10-15 obstacles. Obstacles include, but are not limited to: sandbag carry, burpee stations, army crawls, farmers walks, and more.
Preparing for the Iron Eagle requires strength and conditioning, as well as cardiovascular training. For more information on how to prepare for the race, or other race details contact Gio Trilleras at trillerh@bc.edu.

Time: 10 a.m. (Participants will complete the course in heats, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at noon)

Location: Brighton Campus Lake Street Fields
Divisions: Male and Female

Prizes
All participants will receive a custom ViewSport "sweat-activated technology" t-shirt.
The winner of each division will receive 2013-2014 season football tickets, the Iron Eagle trophy, an Intramural Championship Mug, and bragging rights as the MOST FIT STUDENT ON CAMPUS!
