Council
The Mission of the Boston College Club Sports Council is to unite Club Sports as a single organization representing those students who seek a high level of athletic competition, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and leadership opportunities. The Boston College Club Sports Council will address the concerns that affect Club Sports as a whole by providing a unified student voice, and working to promote Boston College Club Sports both within and outside of the university through competition and community service. The Council seeks to facilitate the growth and future success of the Boston College Club Sports programs.
CSC EXECUTIVE BOARD

PRESIDENT
Stacey Reader (Rugby)
Represents the CSC to the Boston College administration and Club Sports directors, has oversight of the Club Sports Council executive board members and runs executive board meetings.

TREASURER
Jane Stanton (Field Hockey)
Maintains council funds, keeps up-to-date records of CSC transactions and educates individual Club Sports Treasurers with financial processes.

PROJECT MANAGER
Jaclyn Gerson (Lacrosse)
Manages special events, projects and community service efforts.

VICE PRESIDENT
Michael Hanify (Lacrosse)
Has oversight of the Club Sports Council representatives, runs general council meetings, creates and assembles meeting agendas.

SECRETARY
Tim Coogan (Crew)
Maintains records of CSC meetings, disseminates CSC information through semi-annual newsletters (November, April) and bulletin boards and provides information to Club Sports office for website maintenance.

We will begin accepting applications for new members in November 2013. All Apprentice Chairs spend a minimum of two semesters learning the inner workings of Club Sports by attending weekly CSC board meetings and monthly general council meetings. During the third semester, the Chair will shadow a selected board position in order to take full responsibility of the position in the fourth semester. Upon completion, the Apprentice Chair Application can be emailed to Monica Capobianco, Assistant Director of Club Sports.
