Connell School of Nursing doctoral candidate Doug Schlichting has been awarded a student essay prize by the International Philosophy of Nursing Society for his paper which will be published in the prestigious international journal Nursing Philosophy.

Prophetic Witness: Catholic Women's Strategies for Reform, edited by Boston College School of Theology and Ministry Adj. Associate Professor Colleen Griffith, has received a first place book award from the Catholic Press Association in the category of Gender Issues.  Prophetic Witness, part of Boston College’s award-winning Church in the 21st Century book series, is a collection of essays from some of the country's leading female Catholic theologians.

BC Grad Eighan named Lilly Fellow
