GET TO KNOW THE OISS STUDENT STAFF!

Yini Guan started working at the OISS this past summer. She has been a delightful and valuable addition to our office!
Originally from China, she is now a junior at BC studying Human Development with minors in Human Resource Management and Special Education.  Her favorite aspect of BC is that everyone is very “enthusiastic” about volunteering.  Not only is she part of PULSE, but she also is a member of Strong Women Strong Girls; this past fall she also became an IA (International Assistant) in a program where BC students are paired with new international students to assist them with adjustment to American culture and life at BC .

Message from Noele Illien- Co-President of the International Club of Boston College (ICBC)

The International Club has had a really successful semester, adding a number of new events to our existing ones!  This year was the fourth time that we put on International Prom which was a fun opportunity for our BC members and exchange students to get to know one another. Some of our other events have included a screening of the award winning silent film, The Artist, in addition to a talk by Professor Cronin on International Dating. The International Club has also released a new volume of our publication, Kaleidoscope.

We hope to hear from you! Happy Holidays!
