Transforming: International Education through Service-Learning

On February 1-3, Jenn Close and Veronica Gentile will attend the first Student Conference sponsored by the International Academic Collaborative of the ACC at North Carolina State University. Students are realizing that international experience is a key piece of their education here at Boston College, offering increased global awareness, academic fulfillment and personal development. Increasingly, students have the desire to contribute to the international communities with which they interact. Service-learning is uniquely positioned not only to benefit and enhance relationships with those communities, but also to strengthen the academic experience itself. To learn about more service opportunies, please refer to the Volunteer and Service Learning Center.
