About the WRC


    The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) was founded in 1973 to support, educate, and empower women and men in the full attainment of their intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual goals through a wide variety of services and programs.

    The very passionate staff of the WRC consists of a full-time director, three graduate assistants, and seven undergraduates who are committed to assisting students in their journey at Boston College. The WRC is located in McElroy 141 and is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each weekday throughout the academic year.

    The Women’s Resource Center is part of The Office of Health Promotion, which directs programs and services that foster the health and well-being of all members of the Boston College community. The Health Promotion team is comprised of health educators and student volunteers who work collaboratively to advance healthy living habits on campus.

       The Women's Resouce Center is open to all students, faculty, and staff, offers a comfortable atmosphere to seek information, to find peer support, to participate in programming, and to meet others. For more information, call 617-552-3489 or e-mail wrc@bc.edu.
