Montserrat Coalition

An Office in the Division of Mission and Ministry

 Welcome

The Montserrat Coalition is a new initiative under University Mission and Ministry. Rooted in the Ignatian and Catholic mission of Boston College, the Montserrat Coalition aims to assist students at the highest level of financial need to actively participate and experience a Jesuit education. The program aims to mentor, guide, and support students on a personal and individual level in areas that include academics, social, and spiritual topics. Montserrat acts as a bridge and connector between students and the greater Boston College Community. The Coalition is composed of over 40 administrators and faculty members from all over the campus who are active and have committed institutional assistance that this population needs for success and accessibility to the "BC experience."

Congratualtions, Class of 2012!!

As the last graduating class to have experienced Boston College before the formation of Montserrat, we have sincerely enjoyed and valued your participation and conversations. We encourage you all to stop by the office whenever you can. Know that we share in your excitement, and we wish you all the best as you share the values developed here with the world!

An End of a Wonderful Year

Though the year is coming to a close, and the number of Montserrat emails has dramatically decreased, we encourage you all feel free to stop by the office to chat about finals or summer plans. We've enjoyed the year immensely, and cannot wait to see you all again in the Fall!
