Colloquium of Catholic High School Leaders

may 8-9, 2014

Catholic high school leaders will convene at Boston College on May 8-9, 2014 to explore a compelling dimension of Catholic education in the United States today, namely the rich continuum of formation that results when graduates of Catholic high schools choose to attend a Catholic college or university.  How might Catholic education at all levels be strengthened by more intentional relationships between Catholic high schools and universities?  How might we best communicate the formative experience of Catholic education-intellectual, spiritual and social-with our vital constituencies, including students, faculty, parents and alumni?  What is the broader impact of our vision of education - on students and families - in the eight years of high school and college?

Conversation partners from Boston College will include Willam P. Leahy, S.J., President, David Quigley, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Joseph M. O'Keefe, S.J., Director of the Center for Ignatian Spirituality and Professor at the Lynch School of Education, and John L. Mahoney, Jr., Director of Undergraduate Admissions.
