Arrupe International Immersion Program

WELCOME!

If you’re interested in learning more about a Campus Ministry-sponsored ARRUPE INTERNATIONAL IMMERSION PROGRAM, with Immersion Trips during Winter Break 2012-13 – and if you know that you’ll physically be at B.C. during both the fall 2012 and spring 2013 semesters, and if you have not already been on a B.C.-sponsored international service/immersion trip – then please plan to attend/view a Participant Information Session via the following process:

1) If you’re physically here at B.C. this semester, during the spring 2012 semester, please plan to attend 1 of the following 5 information sessions:

  • Wed. Mar. 14 at 7-8 pm in Trinity Chapel, on Newton campus.
  • Thu. Mar. 15 at 7:30-8:30 pm in Cushing 001.
  • Mon. Mar. 19 at 6:15-7:15 pm in Gasson 100.
  • Tue. Mar. 20 at 6-7 pm in St. Joseph Chapel, in Gonzaga Hall, upper campus.
  • Wed. Mar. 21 at 7-8 pm in Gasson 100.

2) If you’re studying abroad this semester, during the spring 2012 semester, please plan to view an information session. To view a session, please send an email, by no later than Wed. Mar. 21 at 5 pm EST, to arrupeprogram@gmail.com, with the subject line: “Abroad Spring 2012”. Then, sometime after Wed. Mar. 21 you’ll receive either a link to view a session on-line, or a summary of what was covered during a session.

It’s important that you attend or view an information session before you apply!

Next year’s 9 winter break trip destinations: Belize, Chiapas Mexico, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Morelos Mexico, Nicaragua, and Puebla Mexico. Any B.C. undergrad of any non-2012 graduation class (i.e. 2013, 2014, or 2015) is invited to apply – including those who are currently studying abroad this semester. In addition to attending or viewing an information session, please read the information on the Arrupe web page before you apply.  Participant Applications are due Mon. Mar. 26, 2012 at 12:00 Noon Eastern Standard Time (i.e. Boston Time), via an on-line process.
