Humble beginnings marked 4Boston's founding in 1992 when sixty students first pledged "four hours for others" in a new program shepherded by Campus Minister Kerry Maloney, BC '81. Now twenty years later, more than three thousand students and alumni have followed their lead.
This year, more than four hundred students have made that same commitment: to connect with the community in a most personal and organic way.
On March 24, 2012, 4Boston celebrated the 20th Anniversary of its founding at the annual Spring Teach-In. Several alumni returned to campus to participate in workshops and panels and many more joined current members to contribute exhibits on what 4Boston means to them.
As alumni of 4Boston, we invite you to keep in touch with friends old and new. Please join the 4Boston Council Facebook group or send us an email to let us know what's happening.
