Multifaith Thanksgiving and Hanukkah Celebration-Thursday, November 21, 2013.

This event featured Hillel Greene, affiliate Campus Minister, Jonathan Makransky, A&S, '14 and Nancy-Pineda-Madrid, associate professor, STM
As part of our celebration, we partnered with "Spread the Bread" to assist needy families during the Thanksgiving Season.  The event was followed by a light buffet lunch.

Meditation, Interfaith Learning, & Social Service: Deep Learning Across Religious Boundaries

Paul Knitter will co-lead with John Makransky a day-long meditation retreat and discussion on contemplative practice, interfaith learning, and social service.

John Makransky is Associate Professor of Comparative Theology, Boston College, Senior Faculty Advisor and visiting lecturer for Kathmandu University's Centre for Buddhist Studies in Nepal, a lama in the Nyingma order of Nyoshul Khenpo, and the guiding teacher and co-found of the Foundation for Active Compassion.

Paul F. Knitter is the Paul Tillich Professor of Theology, World Religions, and Culture at Union Theological Seminary.

This is open to the public without charge and all are welcome to attend this, including faculty and students. Free, but advance sign up is necessary, as soon as possible. Click here to sign up.
