The Samuel Circle

Evening Gatherings of Single Men discerning Religious Life
A coalition of Men's Religious Communities serving in the Archdiocese of Boston will host The Samuel Circles, evening gatherings each month for young single men who are looking into the possibility of joining a Religious Community.

The first Samuel Circle will take place at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 573 Washington St. Newton, MA on September 23, 2014 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The Second Samuel Circle will take place on October 28th.

For more info go to or call Fr. Rocco at 508 429 2144. This initiative is one way to celebrate the upcoming year of Consecrated Life which begins in November.

Join the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston for Taize Prayer!

All are invited to Prayer in the spirit of Taizé at 7:00 pm offered monthly at the Motherhouse Chapel of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 637 Cambridge St. Brighton, MA.

Taizé prayer is a simple form of Christian prayer centered on scripture, silence, and song based on the daily prayer of the religious community in Taizé, France. As women of the Church rooted in the Gospel whose mission is to deepen relationships with God and neighbor, the Sisters of St. Joseph invite you to join in praying for unity and love in our world and in our own hearts. Catholics on Call!

When? October 10th-12th, 2014

The Roman Catholic Diocesan Vocation Office of Albany is please to collaborate with the team from Catholics on Call at CTU in Chicago, to bring this dynamic program to the young adults in the Northeast. We will welcome young adults, ages 18 to 30, from all areas of our country.  The weekend will offer time to share on many levels and most certainly, there will be relaxing and fun time built into your experience.You will have the opportunity to learn helpful skills for listening to and connecting with God in the ordinariness of your life.  It is always good to know how much God loves us, knows us and is always with us on our journey.
