Priesthood Discernment Group
“Our only desire and our one choice should be this: I want and I choose what better leads to God’s deepening God's life in me."
- From the First Principle and Foundation written by St. Ignatius Loyola
The discernment group meets monthly with a small group of Jesuits for prayer, conversation and pizza with students who are considering the place where God may be calling them. If interested in joining this group please contact Fr. Devino - devino@bc.edu
Jesuit Vocation Office
Vocation Discernment Weekends
The Vocation Office offers several weekend vocational discernment retreat opportunities. These retreats are scheduled throughout the year for men interested in exploring the possibility of a vocation to the Society of Jesus.
The retreats are designed to give participants exposure to the history, life and spirituality of the Society of Jesus, all in an effort to help them develop tools for solid spiritual discernment.
It is not necessary to commit oneself to the Associates Program in order to attend one of these retreats; however, after reflection and conversation a participant may wish to further his discernment in this program.
There is one more retreat left this year:
Jogues Retreat Center, Cornwall, NY
May 3-5, 2013
If interested in participating, please contact us at vocations@nysj.org.

The Sisters of Mercy invite single, Catholic women, between the ages of 18 and 40 to participate in a week-long service experience at Misericordia/Heart of Mercy in Chicago. The trip runs from May 18-25, 2013. Click here for a brochure.
