Title: The Long Hard Road: Street Children of Quito, Ecuador

The objective of this research was to determine the core contributors to the prevalence of street children in Quito, Ecuador.  After an analysis of that information followed by the history of child welfare and what has been commissioned in the past as well as what organizations today seek to develop a better life for the street children and their families.  The last objective is to propose a solution that attacks one situation that has not been thoroughly analyzed and sought after.  Conclusively, the sole problem lies within the structure of the family and its financial stability.
