Microsoft Releases Fix for IE Vulnerability

Microsoft released a fix to a recently discovered vulnerability that hackers had been exploiting. The issue, discovered December 27, could corrupt a computer's memory in a manner that could allow hackers to steer users to websites.
The fix is temporary, and anyone on IE 6,7, or 8 should upgrade to IE 9 or 10, or install the fix until a permanent solution is developed.
