With BCshare, you can upload many different text and image file types and use them throughout the application. The file types allowed are:

There is a 4 MB size limitation per file, as well as a 20 MB file space limit. See the BCshare FAQ for more information on space restrictions.

File uploading and access is organized in the "Personal files" section; this is part of your Profile and can be reached from the "Settings" menu in the upper right-hand menu. 

When you first access your "Personal files," you'll see this empty window with two distinct directories. The top directory, "Personal Files and Images," is where both text files and images are stored. "My Album Images" holds images you've uploaded while creating an Album.

To upload files here, click on the "Browse" button, navigate to the file you want to add, and click the "Upload File" button. If you're uploading an image and want a Thumbnail of your image available in the folder, check the "Create thumbnail" box (this is available only with Images).

The screenshot below is an example of several text files (including an HTML page link) that have been uploaded to the "Personal Files" and "Images" directories and two images with corresponding Thumbnails uploaded through the "Make Album" feature.

Note the cursor in the "Image Preview" section of the window, hovering over the "View" link. This allows you to open and view any files you've uploaded in the "Personal files" and "Images" directories.
