Each BCCR computer will come preinstalled with a standard set of software. The software included on your computer is dependent on whether it's a Windows (Dell) or a Mac OS (Apple) computer.

A software program installed on your BCCR computer, Altiris, allows ITS to know what software you are running. In addition, BCCR works with your TC and Department Contact to determine what additional software should be installed.

Please Note: Due to licensing costs, BCCR computers will no longer come with Adobe Acrobat Professional installed by default.

  • It is possible to create PDFs from many applications without a full version of Acrobat Pro. Learn how
  • If you need to edit PDFs or create forms, etc. please notify your Department Contact who will request that BCCR install Acrobat Pro on your new computer.
