The mission of the Office of Institutional Research at Boston College is to support the achievement of University goals by providing information for institutional planning, policy formation, and decision-making. We serve as the source of comprehensive information regarding Boston College by collecting and disseminating reliable institutional data in a responsive, timely, and ethical manner. By working collaboratively with our colleagues, we produce research reports which support localized objectives in concert with university-wide initiatives. The intent of these efforts is to foster the mission of Boston College as a Catholic, Jesuit university, while contributing to the advancement of the broad field of institutional research.

Services Provided
IR serves as an information clearinghouse, develops and administers surveys for BC departments, and provides guidance in BC's ongoing data warehouse initiative.
