MAPPING THE APPLICATION PROCESS
1. check if you MEET THE REQUIREMENTS
Contact the International Exchange Office at your home university to find out about their application procedures.
2. submit your application
You must be nominated by your home university in order to apply to Boston College as an exchange student. Nominated students need to complete the Boston College Exchange Student Application. Download the Semester 2013 or Academic Year 2013-2014 financial documentation.
Please mail your application materials to the Office of International Programs by the posted deadlines. Alternatively, you may scan the application, TOEFL score report, transcript, and passport photo page to oipexchange@bc.edu along with a digital photograph (jpeg format); however, you must still Express mail your original financial documents (bank statements) and completed DCF to the Office of International Programs.
3. ONCE you are ACCEPTED
If you are accepted to Boston College, you will receive e-mail notification of your acceptance. You will also receive a package of materials including the International Exchange Student Handbook that tells you what you need to know before leaving home. You may find it useful to consult Student Services for additional academic and financial information. Your acceptance package and visa documents will be sent to your home university’s International Exchange Office.
