International Exchange Student Programs
MAPPING THE APPLICATION PROCESS
1. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
If your university is a Boston College partner, you must contact your home university’s international exchange office to find out about their application procedures. You must be nominated by your home university to apply to Boston College as an exchange student.
2. SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION
Nominated students must complete a Boston College Exchange Student Application for the Semester or Academic Year, as well as a Declaration of Finances Form. Applicants must submit the additional documentation listed on the Exchange Student Application. Read the application instructions carefully.
Students may mail their completed application with supporting documents to The Office of International Programs address on the application. Alternatively, they may send electronic copies of the application, official TOEFL score report, transcript, and passport photo page to email@example.com, along with a digital photograph (jpeg format); however, original financial documents (bank statements) and completed DCF must be mailed or sent via express mail to the Office of International Programs.
3. AFTER ACCEPTANCE
If accepted to Boston College, students will receive e-mail notification of their acceptance. They will also receive a package of materials, including the International Exchange Student Handbook. The acceptance package and visa documents will be sent to students’ home university’s international exchange office.
