BC Summer Internships

Office of International Programs

A Summer Internship Program is a unique opportunity for BC students to gain valuable international work experience, personal development in the areas of professionalism, social skills and independence. Students will have the chance to make meaningful contributions within their placements and have the freedom to learn about the rich history and ever-more global nature of some of Europe’s largest city. We encourage students who may already be abroad for a semester or a year to extend their time overseas and to participate in an internship opportunity.



Language Requirement: No foreign language needed.


Language Requirement: Must have completed no less than 5 semester of college-level Spanish or equivalent.


Language Requirement: Must have completed no less than 5 semester of college-level French or equivalent.


The application process for 2014 summer programs begins October 1, 2013 and closes February 3, 2014.



Eligible students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing in order to participate.

1. Schedule a meeting with a Summer Programs staff member.

2. In person or via email following your meeting, request an application by providing with your Eagle ID, noting your interest in an internship program (be sure to specify a city).

3. Within a week from requesting an application you will receive, via email, a link and further instructions on how best to submit material. To complete the application you must upload a CV/Resume and a Statement of Purpose, which explains your ideal internship placement. You can access the application with your BC name and password.
