The application process for 2013 summer courses begins October 1, 2012 and closes February 8, 2013. BC summer courses are filled on a rolling admissions basis and have limited capacity. Inquire about scholarships early.
Eligible students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing in order to participate.

Steps to Apply
1. Send an email to email@example.com including your name, Eagle ID number, your first choice and an alternate choice of seminar. We ask for an alternative choice in case the first choice is full. It is not a requirement to provide an alternative choice.
2. Complete the online application
Within a week from the time that you have emailed OIP you will receive a link to the online application which you must complete. You will be asked to include a short (500 words) essay explaining why you would like to participate in the seminar of your choice. You can access the application with your BC name and password.
3. Meet with faculty leader(s)
Once you have submitted your essay, you need to contact the faculty leader(s) of your chosen course to setup a meeting. If necessary, OIP will help coordinate meeting times.
Within a couple of weeks of applying, you will receive an official email notification of your acceptance to a BC summer seminar. The e-mail will include confirmation forms for you to sign and return to Hovey House. You will also receive information concerning the mandatory pre-departure orientation session and other seminar specific documents.
