Parma, Italy

This intensive five-week seminar is equivalent to Intermediate Italian I and II at Boston College, and fulfills the A&S foreign language proficiency requirement. The seminar presumes completion of Elementary Italian I and II. It assists students to improve their reading and writing skills in Italian, continue building oral proficiency, and gain exposure to the lively and current cultural background of contemporary Italy. Class meets for a total of 18 hours per week and will be taught by Professor Brian O'Connor from the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at BC, and native speakers at the Istituto Dante Alighieri.
