Intensive Intermediate German
office of international programs
Berlin, Germany
This German language seminar offers intensive instruction to students who have completed their first year (or the equivalent) of German language acquisition. It is ideally suited for a student who wants to further develop his or her language proficiency, which they acquired during their first year of German language studies.
Students will use their listening comprehension, speaking and writing skills in an immersion setting. The seminar material includes German classical readings, short stories, articles from daily newspapers, videos and listening materials from the “Deutsche Welle” as well as information concerning German business, culture and politics. In addition to the required class time- usually during the morning - extracurricular activities will be offered. Students will have ample opportunity to apply their newly learned language skills by exploring the city on their own.
