Study Abroad Advising - Schedule an Appointment
office of international programs
Advising in the 2013-2014 academic year will begin on September 19, after the BC Study Abroad Fair on September 18. Students must meet with an Advising Assistant first. After the Advising Assistant meeting, students should schedule an appointment with an International Study Advisor (ISA). ISAs will begin appointments starting September 30, including summer programs. Follow the instructions below to schedule an appointment.
***Sophomores interested in studying abroad on one of the early deadline BC in London Programs-Queen Mary, London School of Economics (LSE), University College London (UCL) or King’s College, should call OIP to schedule an appointment. All other students should continue to use the online appointment system. Appointments for all other programs will begin again in January 2014. ***
SEMESTER AND YEAR PROGRAMS
Talk to an Advising Assistant (AA) about general aspects of going abroad. Learn about policies and procedures, how to research programs, and next steps. AAs are available by appointment. Monserrat Students can meet with the Monserrat Coalition Liaison to begin the process and will be refered to an AA after that.
The International Study Advisor (ISA) is a staff member with special expertise in a given region. Your ISA will help you with the application process and will be a point of contact during your experience abroad. Students who arrive to meet with an ISA will be asked to reschedule if they have not met with an AA prior.
Please note that your appointment
is not confirmed until you receive
an email confirmation from the appointment system.
When arriving at Hovey House for your appointment, please be on time
and note that students who are more
than 10 minutes late will be asked to reschedule.
