Information for BC Faculty
office of international programs
Dear colleagues,
Students and faculty alike regard study abroad as one of the most formative experiences that an education at Boston College offers.
We are delighted to work with you towards our shared academic goal to prepare students for citizenship, service, and leadership in a global society.
There are many ways for faculty to get involved with the Office of International Programs, from summer programs, to faculty advisory committees, research opportunities abroad and more. We also count on your insight for the development of new courses and programs abroad.
With our new curriculum integration project we are planning to better dove-tail the educational experiences on campus with our study abroad programs.
This page aims to bring together resources that we think will be useful to you.
My team and I are happy to answer any further questions. We look forward to our continued work together.
With best regards,
Office of International Programs
Teaching Opportunities Abroad
As a faculty member, a summer course abroad will provide you with a chance to teach in a specific geographic setting. You have the opportunity to offer a new and innovative course, perhaps one that you may have always wanted to teach here at Boston College. For more information contact abby.berenson@bc.edu.
SUMMER RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY
We are excited to announce a new research grant opportunity from the College of Arts and Sciences. The grant will provide funds to A&S faculty who teach a summer course abroad and are interested in extending their time in-country to conduct research.
Additional opportunities
Faculty members who are interested in teaching at Venice International University can inquire about opportunities with Patricia DeLeeuw, Vice Provost for Faculties.
