Sarah Lynes joined the OIP staff in August 2011 and is responsible for programs in France, Italy and Switzerland.

Education

Sarah earned her Master’s in French Didactics and Pedagogy from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont and completed a B.A. in French Language and Literature at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Sarah studied abroad in Paris for her junior year of college as well as for a year during her Master’s program.

Administrative Experience

Prior to joining Boston College, Sarah worked in International Student Services and Activities at the EF Language School in New York. In addition, Sarah advised college students and professors on short term study abroad experiences at EF Boston. She has also taught English abroad in France and China and served as the Social Network Coordinator for an e-Learning Think Tank.

Areas of Interest

Her interests include second language acquisition through full language immersion, virtual learning environments, and social aspects of second language acquisition.
