IDeS supports the use of Adobe Connect for virtual presentation in and out of the classroom, and small group meetings between instructors and students.
Although all virtual communication technology is subject to some uncertainty, we work closely with instructors to ensure the best possible outcome through the following steps:
- Conduct an initial assessment to determine the best arrangement to meet your teaching goals, including any hardware and in-class support that might be needed.
- Provide assistance with a test call in advance of the event, ideally with each participant in the location and on the technology that will be used for the event itself. Although IDeS is not able to extend support beyond BC instructors, we can coordinate efforts with support personnel in remote locations.
